How Pureen started
Pureen started in 1971. A young pharmacist wanted baby care that was gentler and better suited to Malaysian families, and the first Pureen baby range came out of that.
The company behind the brand, Summit Company (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, was registered here in 1968 and still runs Pureen today.
In the early days there was one baby range. Over time we added wipes, toiletries, detergents, bottles, baby clothes and products for mum. Some products are made in Malaysia and some are made overseas to our own formulas.
