How to Choose a Baby Lotion
Every baby lotion in Malaysia promises soft skin. These are the four things actually worth checking before you pick one.

Start with the texture
Baby moisturisers come as lotions, creams and ointments. A lotion holds the most water and spreads the most easily, which makes it the practical choice for covering a whole squirming baby every day. Creams and ointments are thicker, and better kept for very dry patches.

Read the active ingredients
Look for humectants and antioxidants rather than a long perfume list. Vitamin E helps condition the skin barrier and protect against everyday damage, which is why it sits at the centre of the Pureen formula alongside gentle moisturisers.

Match it to the weather
Malaysia is warm and humid nearly all year. A heavy cream can feel occlusive and sticky in that climate, while a light lotion absorbs and disappears. If your baby feels tacky twenty minutes after moisturising, the product is too rich for the weather.
